With its majestic willow tree and pretty garden setting, Willow Cottage is the perfect studio oasis from which to enjoy your Maldon getaway. A renovated free-standing bungalow, Willow Cottage sits behind the main house and is accessed via a semi-private entrance. The contemporary interior, in a neutral palette, contains a comfortable queen bed with quality linen and delivers a warm and inviting feel. The Cottage has reverse-cycle air-conditioning which ensures year-round comfort, and a large, flat screen TV/DVD player. There is also a bespoke bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity and toilet, and an adjoining wardrobe. A practical kitchenette with microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, toaster and fridge caters for basic meals. We supply ground coffee, tea,milk and mineral water for your stay.
We try to be as eco-friendly as possible, with organic soap & body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in wall-mounted dispensers. Refuse can easily be sorted into recyclables, organic waste for compost, and rubbish. Even the waste bags are biodegradable. The property also generates solar power and has a storage battery.
In a quiet location, Willow Cottage is an easy 10 minute walk to cafes, shops, galleries and everything else Maldon has to offer. Bush walks to the Rock of Ages and Mount Tarrengower are moments away. Perfect for a busy weekend or a quiet mid-week stay. Discounted rates for two or more nights. Bike riders and walkers are encouraged.

Terrific cottage and host
We were in Maldon for an extended birthday gathering and Willow Cottage was the perfect place to return to, to sleep and refresh - comfy bed and excellent facilities. Jamie was always contactable, and his team went above and beyond when I foolishly left something behind. They located it and he arranged to return it to me, I was delighted!

Cutest Cottage
I had a previous booking secured through Jamie then required a couple of extra days in Maldon. I couldn’t have been happier with his recommendation, Willow Cottage is a big spacious cottage on a small footprint! Thoroughly enjoyed the oversized bathroom. Jamie has made booking holiday accommodation easy.

Willow Cottage was a terrific place to stay. It was a short walk from all of the attractions Maldon has to offer. The amenities were first class and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Both Jamie and the owner were a pleasure to deal with and we can't recommend Willow Cottage enough.

Lovely, quiet and comfortable, well-equipped cottage. Jamie’s recommendations for sight-seeing and food/coffee/supplies were excellent. A great place to base yourself for an exploration of the Goldfields region.
Beautiful Cottage
We were greeted at the property by the hospitable and friendly host, Jamie, who was there making the cottage nice, warm and comfortable as we arrived during a storm. The accommodation included a beautiful garden (with an amazing range of colours at this time of year), comfortable bed and incredible bathroom facilities. Everything was well maintained and Jamie was incredibly helpful in giving recommendations of where to visit for food, attractions and the best coffee and croissants in Maldon!! Thank you for having us, and we could not recommend this accommodation experience enough and are looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful cottage and garden, located in a peaceful corner just a short walks away from the main high street. The host Jamie, was extremely helpful! Met us at the property and recommended lots of attractions to visit - has a great website! Would definitely stay again and will recommend to my friends. It’s the perfect stay for a long weekend away from the city.

Beautiful Stay
We had the most beautiful stay in Willow Cottage! Jamie was incredibly hospitable & generous with his knowledge of the local area and the cottage was perfect - cozy, clean and so charming. Watching the sunset from Tarrengower Lookout; fish & chips at the Maldon Hotel; swimming at Lake Cairn Curran; the Sunday Market bursting with fresh produce — we loved every minute. Golden Maldon indeed!
